Annually, Mission E4 showcases to you, their donors, the positive impact they have on the community and the world through their ministry. And why they should continue to receive your financial support.

The "Big 4 for E4" is an annual campaign highlighting the most important projects to be undertaken by its ministry for the coming year.

Unfortunately, the "whitewashed  tombs" of Mission E4 hide an inner unsoundness and sinfulness that requires fixing before they can reach out in YOUR name and in the name of JESUS CHRIST.

The REAL Big 4 for E4

Before you support their next "Big 4 for E4" campaign, we ask you to consider the "REAL Big 4 for E4" projects that Mission E4 should commit to NOW !

#1 - Justice for Victims

Mission E4 must admit to the pain and suffering inflicted upon victims caused by staff and volunteers, and supported by inaction of officers and the Board of Directors.

Mission E4 must support victims in their ongoing treatment and healing for trauma.

Victims of sexual assault and abuse at the hands of staff and volunteers of Mission E4 continue to suffer from depression, PTSD and anxiety.

The lack of accountability for the past, and the reluctance to fix their policies and training leave the served communities at high risk for more victims.

#2 - Purge the ministry of wrong-doers

Mission E4 must remove anyone from their ministry who causes harm such as sexual assault upon their fellow staff or volunteers, or children being served.

Mission E4's Board of Directors must remove officers that support, condone or allow sexual misconduct to occur.

Mission E4's Board of Directors must be purged of members who have not worked for the safety of its staff, volunteers or children being served by blocking necessary reforms to provide a safe environment free from sexual abuse and assault.

Accused perpetrators continue to interact with children and young adults without any competent review of claims of wrong-doing.

Officers, staff and volunteers continue to ignore the suffering of victims causing great hurt within the ministry and the body of Christ.

#3 - Ensure the safety of staff and volunteers

Mission E4 must adopt new training and policies that enable fair and responsible reporting of future claims of sexual abuse by and against staff, volunteers and officers here and abroad.

Past practices have placed accused staff as judge and jury of complaints made against them, requiring staff to comply with those decisions, creating a hostile work environment.

Without accountability, there can be no trust within the organization.

#4 - Ensure the safety of those served

Mission E4 must adopt new training and policies that enable fair and responsible reporting of future claims of sexual abuse from staff, volunteers and officers by those being served here and abroad.

Past practices have ignored claims of abuse as simply "a consequence of working with troubled youth."

The inability to seek the truth and bring healing to victims should be an expectation of any Christian organization, especially one which advertises itself as a providing "emotional, mental and spiritual encouragement".

Without accountability, there can be no trust of the organization.
